Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I choose European cabinetry?

European kitchens are known for their superior quality, from ergonomics to finish options and quality of construction. Cabinetry is rigorously tested to ensure it will last several times longer than the typical kitchen life span.

Is custom cabinetry really worth the expense?

Custom means that each cabinet is made-to-measure for your space. You’re able to choose every aspect of the design: door style, edging, finish, and hardware. Your designer can recommend drawer dividers and pull-out shelves to maximize organization and efficiency.

Do I need a kitchen designer?

A kitchen designer is a professional, trained to create efficient, attractive spaces. Our designers have in-depth knowledge of our products, including styles, finishes and options. They’ll help you determine the best layout and recommend the right products to achieve your vision.

Do you provide design service, and what does it cost?

Our expert design team is at your service. Design services are included in your purchase; for some projects, we may require a small non-refundable retainer, which will be applied to your purchase.

How do I choose a cabinet door style and finish?

Having many styles and finishes to choose from can seem overwhelming, but mot people have an idea of their personal style. Feel free to bring any inspiration photos to your appointment, and our designers will guide you through our collection of samples.

Do you offer cabinetry for other areas besides the kitchen?

Our European cabinetry selections are ideal for bathroom vanities, wet bars, wine cellars, entertainment centers, storage and display, and custom closets.

How long does the design and order process take?

While each project is unique, most cabinetry can be manufactured and installed in a few weeks. The Solana Cabinets team will coordinate with you and your builder or project manager to ensure everything goes smoothly.

How long does it take to install new kitchen or bath cabinets?

Most kitchen and bath cabinetry can be installed in a day or two. If the space is under construction, the doors are usually installed at the end of the project to avoid damage. Once the cabinet bases are installed, a template can be made for the countertops. Stone and quartz countertops usually take 1-2 weeks to complete.
